EXPLORE WITH NATURE

Go further together.

Looking for a meaningful and memorable multi-day experience for your class or school?

NATURE organises multi-day outdoor programmes in which students take on challenges together, explore their boundaries and grow as a group.

Our programmes bring together adventure, nature and experiential learning in a powerful shared experience. The activities themselves are not the main goal. What matters is what students discover along the way: about themselves, about others and about working together.

A multi-day programme with NATURE creates opportunities to:

  • strengthen group dynamics,
  • build connection and mutual trust,
  • develop independence and resilience,
  • slow down and recharge in nature,
  • and experience learning in a different way.

A multi-day experience in nature

Our programmes take place in Viroinval, in southern Belgium: a beautiful natural area with forests, rocky landscapes, valleys and rivers. This is not an event venue or a conventional sports centre, but a region where nature, tranquillity and adventure genuinely come together.

Viroinval is easily accessible by train. School groups generally travel to Mariembourg railway station, where the programme can begin straight away.

Students stay either in accommodation with dormitories or on an equipped campsite in nature. From there, the group heads out together.

All activities can be reached on foot. This means that moving from one place to another becomes part of the experience too: being on the move together, spending time outdoors and making time for one another.

What can you expect?

Every multi-day programme is designed around the group.

We combine:

  • adventurous outdoor activities,
  • cooperative challenges,
  • group moments,
  • reflection,
  • time to relax,
  • and plenty of time outdoors.

Possible activities include:

  • rock climbing,
  • abseiling,
  • raft building and rafting,
  • bushcraft,
  • hiking and bivouacking,
  • orientation and navigation,
  • archery,
  • outdoor cooking,
  • and campfire moments.

We deliberately make time for students to get to know each other more deeply, strengthen the group and share connecting moments along the way.

Professional facilitation with attention to safety and group dynamics

Our approach is rooted in Adventure Education and experiential learning.

We work with classes or smaller subgroups, with dedicated NATURE facilitators who stay with the same class or group. This creates space for trust, involvement and high-quality facilitation throughout the programme.

Challenge and safety go hand in hand. Alongside physical safety, we pay close attention to psychological safety and group dynamics.

Every student has a place in the group and opportunities to participate at their own pace.

Accommodation

Depending on the experience you are looking for, groups can stay:

  • in small-scale accommodation with bedrooms,
  • in accommodation with larger dormitories,
  • or on an equipped campsite surrounded by nature.

Staying on the campsite brings students closer to outdoor life: cooking together, spending much of the day in the open air, sharing campfire moments and waking up surrounded by nature.

Who is it for?

  • For students from upper primary school onwards (approximately ages 10–12), throughout secondary school and in higher education.
  • Programmes of 3 to 5 days
  • For groups of approximately 25 to 75 students
  • Programme tailored to the group

We take care of teachers too

You do not need to be an outdoor expert to join us.

Our facilitators take responsibility for the programme content and outdoor activities. This gives teachers the space to take part in the experience, observe their students and support the group where needed.

Interested in a multi-day outdoor programme for your school?

We are happy to develop a programme with you based on:

  • the age of your students,
  • your objectives,
  • the dynamics within the group,
  • the level of challenge you are looking for,
  • and your preferred type of accommodation.
  • Feel free to request more information or a tailored quote.

Together, we will explore which programme best fits your students, your objectives and your expectations.
